Servers Alive is a network monitor program for Windows. It can monitor any WinSock service (FTP, HTTP, POP3, SMTP, IMAP4, DNS), ping a host/machine, check if an NT Service is running (which can be restarted by Servers Alive) or monitor the available disk space on a remote machine.

Should any of the above be down, it can warn you with a Sound or visual indication (change of the title bar, and a red down indication) or send you an email (SMTP or any other mail type using a commandline sendmail utility) saying who is down. It can also send you an alert via pager.
