AVIedit is a video editor and capture tool that allows you to watch video on the computer (even fullscreen) and capture single frames and entire movies. You can enhance your videos using more than 30 built-in effects (twirl, rotate, skew, mirror, mosaic, flower etc.), change brightness, contrast, sharpness and even frame rate. The program allows you to import bitmaps, MPEG, FLI/FLC, BMP, JPG, PNG and TARGA images, print them and export to GIFs and FLI/FLC. It can edit existing .avi files and create titles. You can add or remove audio tracks and compress your videos with modern codecs like MPEG4. Special hardware (video capture board) is required only for capture, but other things can be done easily on most Pentium-class computers. AVIedit supports TWAIN devices like a scanner or digicam and can use most of Adobe Photoshop compatible plug-ins.
