Description

WinForcer is designed to prevent users changing their desktop configuration or running applications that could damage their PC.

WinForcer is configurable to allow the administrator to decide the level of enforcement for each machine. It is non registry invasive thus removing the uncertainties of the Policy editor or direct registry changes. It also allows more flexibility than mandatory profiles although WinForcer will happily work with roaming and mandatory profiles.

Main Functionalities:

  • Prevent Access to the entire Control Panel or individual Control Panel Applets.
  • Prevent Access to the entire Desktop or individual Desktop Items.
  • Prevent Access to any Application from the Start Button or Completely disable the Start Button.
  • Hide Local and Network Drives.

All the items are configurable through the WinForce Config Application and changes to your configuration are implemented immediately without the need to restart Winforcer or log off. You can WinForce any application or Folder through WinForcer.

Other features include the ability to stop browsing local disks through Internet Explorer and to replace the Start Button with a Logoff/Shutdown button.
