Cool Find is a powerful file search and management tool with many practical functions that make it effective and convenient.

Anything you can see in Windows Explorer can be found with Cool Find, including files on PC, LAN, Pocket PC linked to PC etc. Files within a compressed file (ZIP, RAR, CAB, TAR, TGZ, GZ, ACE, ARJ) can be searched and the results shown as a category below the compressed file. You can also extract files from compressed files.

The program supports string search in PDF files, Unicode files and Microsoft Office files. It provides pre-defined file type groups such as office documents, image files and audio files to simplify the search process, or you can define your own file type groups.

The search result can be exported as a text file, html file or a playlist file.Cool Find provides details of the date and time term of the search including date and time of creating file, accessing file and modifying file.

You can rename multiple files with powerful options and change file attributes easily. The program enables you to find duplicate and redundant files, thus helping to optimize your hard disk.
