Description

Lightbox is a Windows application that helps you find the files that you work with. It's small, fast and sits alongside your application to make it the handiest utility for viewing, finding and inserting files that you use with your applications. Instead of using the Windows standard File Open dialog box to find and open files for your application, Lightbox is always available to you to help you view and insert files into your application.

Lightbox is able to view over 150 file formats and creates visual thumbnails for most of these formats. Thumbnails can be displayed in three user defined sizes. They can also be sorted by various file and image attributes. Thumbnails are cached on your computer so the folder and file navigation is very fast.

Lightbox is also able to quickly view files using the Instant Viewer. Using the Lightbox Instant Viewer, you can view file full-sized; zoom in on files; play animated GIF and AVI files, rotate images, view transparency, view colour information, and more.

Lightbox can display detailed properties such as file information, image information, meta data information (EXIF and IPTC), web information and multimedia information. It also displays animated thumbnails for multi-page and multimedia files. You can store your own collection of favourites so that folders that you visit often are easily available to you. Favourites can be displayed on the Lightbox toolbar for quick one-click access.
