EF Duplicate Files Manager helps you to find and remove duplicate files with the same name or size in specified paths. It can even analyze the file content and indicate only dupes which are absolutely identical. These files unnecessarily occupy storage space on your computer or server. The EF Duplicate Files Manager will look in multiple drives or multiple paths for dupes. Beyond that it is able to analyze the contents of archive files. The most usual formats (RAR, ACE, ZIP and more) are supported as well as image files (IMG, ISO9660). Different filters are available, allowing you to limit the search to certain file types or the date or size of the files. An exclude folder list can be used to accelerate the search procedure. Also, important system folders can be excluded from the search so that system files are not handled i.e. Windows backups. After the EF Duplicate Files Manager completes the search, it presents the dupes in a clear, polychrome supported list in accordance with the criteria selected. The coloured representation makes it easy to recognize similar files. The program lets you decide what you would like to do with the found files. It supports among other things functions for deletion, copying, moving or renaming the entries. You can save the list of dupes found for later processing.
