MusiCat is a CDDB-Enabled application that lets you organize your music collection quickly. This program is very easy to use, since you only have to look at the most basic data fields like Album Title, Year of Release, Catalog Number etc. Should you want to store more data, maybe the artist's web site, or the music genre of the album, no problem! You can add as many custom data fields as you like, and use these fields for searching, sorting and printing. With the CDDB interface, there is no need to enter your data by hand. Just insert the CD into your CD-ROM drive and press a key. The information is retrieved from an Internet database containing hundreds of thousands of CD titles. MusiCat can also help you organize your MP3-collection; all you need to do is drag and drop your files from Windows Explorer. You can then create playlists, print reports and launch your mp3-player from MusiCat. MusiCat features a powerful report generator that uses templates that you can create yourself. This allows you to print or save custom reports that look exactly the way you want them. Templates can also be used to export your data in a multitude of data formats.
