ACDR is a tool that lets you read audio tracks from standard audio CDs and write them to a variety of different file formats.

Features include a 3-step procedure 'wizard' which makes conversion both quick and easy, and a single pass operation for all options and output formats.

The program works with any MMC2-compatible CD-ROM or DVD capable of reading digital audio, and supports AIFF, AU, and WAV file formats, and also CDDB2 for retrieving track, album, and artist names (registered version only).

Other features include flexible output file naming control, optional jitter and scratch correction, support for the Replay Gain algorithm for psycho- acoustically corrected volume normalization, FLAC lossless compression support, improved sample rate conversion algorithms, de-emphasis support for correct EQ of rare CD's recorded with 'emphasis' and new normalization options.

This latest version includes support for WavPack lossless compression.
