SurfBuddies Mail is a Windows based POP3 e-mail client designed to run on your computer and to access POP3 e-mail accounts provided by SurfBuddies, your ISP or other POP3 e-mail hosting services. With this program you are assured that your child's information is under your control at all times. Your children can safely send and receive e-mail messages with friends, family and organisations you approve. Only those messages from people in the parent defined Buddy List will be displayed. SPAM and messages from questionable sources are not an issue with SurfBuddies Mail. The Profanity Filter contains hundreds of objectionable words, word variations and phrases which, if present, are removed from incoming and outgoing e-mail. SurfBuddies Mail also incorporates a Blind Carbon Copy feature that is completely configurable and may be enabled or disabled by the parent. This means that all e-mails sent by a child may be copied to their parent's e-mail address. A single copy of SurfBuddies Mail can support from 1 to 10 children. Each child's program identity is password protected to discourage curious siblings.
