NetSpeeder2 is a useful network assistant that lets you actually know the network status.

You can see the total transfer data, average data transfer rate, maximum data transfer rate and current data transfer rate on the real-time graph and numerical display. You can also see the address of the current linking site.

If you want to accelerate browsing your web pages, you can use the "Cache Pages" function. NetSpeeder2 will help you cache them to the IE cache before you browse the web pages. Use the "Block AD Window" options to block ad windows (popup windows).
