Description

SpamGunner is a powerful anti-spam product for consumers and small businesses. It can check and filter multiple accounts simultaneously, and kill e-mail viruses quickly.

The program provides a range of filters to stop spam such as sender, subject, message text, header, date, size, attachment, and country code filter. You can update the filter library online, define your own filters, and add e-mail addresses of your friends. SpamGunner also supports using wildcards in filters and multi-byte characters preview.

You can set the mode of message retrieval e.g. you can retrieve the first few lines of messages only, so you can delete unwanted e-mail with large attachments without wasting your time on downloading them. Plus, you can preview the content of messages and kill messages even when retrieving them.

SpamGunner gives you the ability to send error or complaint messages to the spam sender or related administrators, and to decode and process e-mails sent by some e-mail programs which do not meet standard protocols.

The program displays a notification window for new mail without "stealing" input focus, plays configurable sound for new mail, can automatically open mail program, and handles mail differently depending on contents.

Minimum System Requirements:

• 10 MB free hard disk space.
• A POP3 e-mail account.

Important: SpamGunner filters POP3, but currently does not filter MSN/Hotmail, AOL, Yahoo or other Web-based e-mail.
