Elecard Wavelet Image compressor provides extremely high compression ratio's - more than 100:1 with negligible distortions.

In JPEG compression, the image divides into a series of blocks, so at a high compression ratio you can see them as squares with different colours. Wavelet algorithm does not divide an image into blocks, but analyzes the whole image.
