Soview is capable of viewing the most popular graphic types found over the internet, and can also be configured to be a Windows default viewer for those formats.

These formats include JPEG , Bitmap, Compuserve Bitmaps, Tagged Images, PC Paintbrush Images, Icons and Icon Libraries and Metafile. The program is able to write to all of these formats (except .pcx) by means of a Quick Convert function, Single Click Conversion, or via the Batch Conversion utility.

The program includes a slide show feature, which allows you to go through your images at full screen by means of an in built timer or the click of a mouse, a screen capture utility, which allows you to capture either the whole screen, a selection or a certain control, and a loupe that magnifies the area around your cursor up to 1000%.

New features include faster JPEG Compression/Decompression and animated Gif support.
