Arthaus Paint & Fotoshop is a fun and easy to use graphics program that turns anyone into an artist regardless of age and ability. You can start making colourful patterns straight away. The program includes mirror paint for easy elaborate patterns and surprise pattern maker for instant art.

You can paint freehand, use random colour, merge the current colour with the one already on the canvas to create interesting patterns, and invert the colour on the canvas.

Other features enable you to use an existing image as the backdrop, stretch/shrink an image into a shape, reduce the size of the windows and stack them up (cascade), reduce the size of the windows and lay them out so that they are all visible (tile), and choose from several filters.

If you have a soundcard installed, try the tonepad. Clicking on the pads produces a sound, where you click on the pad dictates the pitch. Some weird sounds can be produced.
