Softy 3D is a 3D modeling program which is particularly useful for organic modeling. You can create complex models in a simple way, using two basic objects - Softsphere and Softspline.

When creating a new model, construct a shape, use functions such as move, rotate, modify ratio, move control point, zoom, and maximize/minimize, until the desired final appearance is achieved.

On completion of your model, generate the mesh with a soft blend between Softsphere and Softspline.

The program enables you to export the mesh to a wide variety of 3D file formats such as 3D Studio, LightWave, trueSpace, POV-Ray, Cinema 4D, DirectX, Wavefront object, Quickdraw 3DMF, Autocad DXF, RAW Triangles and ASCII.
