Use IconChanger to change personal file icons. You can now assign an icon of your choice to each and every file on your computer.

If you have hundreds of mp3 or .doc files, use IconChanger to change the icon of your favourites to emphasize them. IconChanger can also be used to change desktop icons such as My Computer icon, folder icons or any shortcut icons and to customise the system icons (icons in the Start Menu, for closed/open folders etc.)

You can use IconChanger:

• to search for icons inside files on your computer.
• to show the file with the icon that displays the given object.
• to view icons embedded in a file.
• to save an icon as an .ico file and copy an icon image to the clipboard.

IconChanger not only searches for actual icons, but also everything that Windows can recognise as an icon (i.e. cursors and bitmap images). You can also restrict the icon search by specifying what file types to look into.
