IconBook allows you to search for icons in a library of more than 25,000 icons on one or more keywords out of a total of 1450 keywords.

You can scan ANI, CUR, DLL, EXE, ICL and ICO files for icons, add references to your icons to IconBook with as many of your own keywords, view and change any of your systems shortcut, system, cursors and file type icons, change any folder icon if you have Windows 98 or Internet explorer 4 or higher.

Features include the ability to import BMP, JPG, GIF and WMF picture files or paste them from the clipboard. Define the colour which will be transparent, define the hotspot if it's a cursor. All standard icons sizes and colour depths supported. This way you can create your own icons and cursors while using the enhanced tools of your favorite picture editor.

IconBook also allows you to change the icon of any program shortcut by dragging it and dropping it onto an IconBook icon. Even create new shortcuts by dropping other file types on an IconBook icon. Filters can be applied when reviewing large quantities of icons i.e. all 256 colour icons or just all icons beginning with a specific character. Save every cursor, icon and animated icon you see. 16-, 256,- and High Colour depths and 16x16 icons are supported.
