Being an easy-to-use program, it can run 10-100 virtual desktops on your computer by default. Just use Ctrl+number-key to switch between them.

You can use Super X Desktop to manage multiple virtual desktops. This means you can set captions and wallpapers for each desktop, and applications can run on different desktops as you like.

Super X Desktop will manage all virtual desktops, you don't need to minimise or close any applications in the virtual desktops.

You can only see all running applications on the selected active desktop, but applications on non-active virtual desktops continue running even if you can see them.
