SQL*XL is a tool which allows you to use Microsoft Excel as a frontend to Oracle providing an easy to use bridge between Excel and Oracle databases. The main feature of this program is the ability to pull data from databases directly into an Excel spreadsheet. Other features include the execution of PL/SQL, browsing the data dictionary, inserts and updates. SQL*XL supports macro recording too and has an open API.
