DescriptionHerbert's Math Time is a mathematics education program for kids. Herbert is a caterpillar who is surrounded by his favorite food in the whole world, leaves. If you tap on the leaves, however, they will take you to all the places where Herbert works on his arithmetic skills. There are 3 parts to this program Practice, Tic-Tac-Math and Whack a Bug. The Practice leaf takes you to Herbert's Practice Place. Herbert will come up with problems for you to solve, and he will tell you if you answered them correctly or not. Unlike a workbook, Herbert never seems to run out of problems. Tic-Tac-Math is one of Herbert's favorite games. You tap on a square and solve an arithmetic problem to earn it. You can either play yourself, play with a friend or you can use infrared to allow two children on different organizers to compete. Whack a Bug is a wacky arcade game. Once you start, you get problems to solve based on your level. Bugs will pop out of the holes, with a number that could be a solution to the problem. Whack the one with the right answer! Be careful, though as you can see, these bugs are out to trick you as well! No wonder Herbert wants you to get rid of them. |
