Palmscape is a Web browser that enables you to access a web page saved in the Palm device internal cache, even when you're not connected to the Internet.

Palmscape's automatic update function downloads a pre-specified web page and saves it to your Palm's internal cache. These functions facilitate operations and reduce communication time.

prc/pdb files downloaded from the web are automatically installed right into the Palm device. Palmscape also allows you to browse data stored in your Palm device and save web pages in Memo.

Frames are displayed in separate pages due to the limitation of the screen size. Data in tables are displayed in Palmscape and sized according to the screen size.

Main Features include:

  • Web Pages can be saved in cache for offline viewing/browsing.
  • Web pages that have been bookmarked are automatically synchronized in online mode bringing the latest update of the web pages.
  • Web Pages that are to be accessed in offline mode can be done so in advance. During the next connection time, all are downloaded
  • prc/pdb files downloaded from the web site can be installed directly into the Palm device.
  • Data from the web can be stored and viewed in text format from the Memo Pad. Mailer application is automatically launched when the mailto: tag is tapped
  • Image Display Color/Monochrome image display transmitted via the Palmscape DataServer
  • HTML/3.2 Support SSL will be available in the future.

Palmscape requires at least 300Kb Free Memory Space, PalmOS3.0 or higher, Colour or Monochrome Display.
