Word on Word is a unique puzzle game that combines the action of Scrabble and Tetris. The game is simple to learn but hard to master. The purpose of the game is to construct the longest possible words from letters selected at random. Words can be created both vertically and horizontally. A two-letter word is worth four points (2 x 2), a three-letter word is worth nine points (3 x 3), etc., up to a maximum of 49 points (7 x 7). When you start Word on Word, you are allocated five randomly selected letters, and you can place them in any position on the bottom row to build the longest possible word. Until a sixth piece is selected, these five letters can be moved to any position, allowing spaces for new letters to fit in to create the best possible word(s). Once the sixth piece has been selected, no piece that has already been placed can be moved. You can use the joker once during a game, the joker represents any letter of your choice. Every piece can be used once horizontally and once vertically. All words except proper nouns are allowed.
